Title
El vicario Capitular de León, Presbítero don Francisco Chavarría expone al Jefe Supremo de Costa Rica los móviles de orden eclesiástico que le guiaron al ordenar el regreso de los Clérigos que estaban en el Salvador pertenecientes a su diócesis, al hacerse el nombramiento del primer obispo de este Estado. Se queja enérgicamente de los repiques de campanas, al conocerse el decreto de la Asamblea Constituyente en que se pretendía dejar sin efecto esa resolución, y que aparece adjunta a la exposición del Presbítero Chavarría. La Asamblea declara que no allana campos espirituales pero que tampoco el Vicario debe introducir órdenes en territorio ageno..
