El Artículo trata sobre las diferencias y similitudes entre Costa Rica y Uruguay, países que en cuanto a tamaño de territorio y densidad poblacional son parecidos. Y que ante la pandemia de COVID-19 al inicio hasta cierta fecha, 21 de julio aproximadamente, sus métodos, preparaciones, pruebas, enfermos y fallecidos, eran similares. Sin embargo, después de julio Uruguay aventajo a Costa Rica en el manejo de la crisis por medidas como “libertad responsable” para los individuos, conformación de un Grupo de Asesoramiento Científico Honorario, amplia realización de testeos, y diferencias en la población.
